In 1996, I had just lost my mother to Alzheimer's. Margaret had just finalized her divorce.
We were both 40-something, exhausted, and wondering if our best years were behind us.
Over wine one night, we made a pact: we'd stop living for everyone else.
Opening this boutique wasn't just about fashion. It was about reclaiming ourselves after years of caregiving, marriage, motherhood – all the roles that made us forget who we were.
There were tough months – times we weren't sure we'd make it. But with every order, you reminded us it's never too late to start over.
Today we celebrate 29 years, and this sale is our way of saying thank you. For being part of our journey, our second act, and our proof that invisible doesn't mean done. ❤️
